最近頻繁的在新莊、三重一帶嘗試泰式料理，當中蓮花泰式小吃店也是被網友歸類為道地的一間；到場後發現確實有許多看起來不像台灣人的食客，且有專用的泰文菜單
選了幾道在台灣泰式餐廳常見的菜色吃吃看，口味確實很不一樣，酸辣更強烈、香料用得更多，其中特別喜歡檸檬魚的調味！總覺得除了檸檬、辣椒、蒜以外，還多了數種香料葉清香
不過食材品質吃起來與價格相符，下次還來的話可能會改吃炒飯、炒河粉等澱粉類吧
Lately, I’ve been exploring a lot of Thai restaurants in the Xinzhuang and Sanchong areas. Lotus Thai eateries is one that people often praise for its authenticity. When I arrived, I noticed many diners who didn’t look Taiwanese, and they even have a dedicated menu in Thai, which definitely backed up that reputation.
We ordered a few classic dishes. The flavors were indeed very different—the sourness and spiciness were much more intense, and they used a lot more herbs. I especially loved the seasoning of the Steamed Fish with Lime! Besides the lime, chili, and garlic, there were several other herbs adding to its refreshing aroma.
However, the quality of the ingredients simply reflects the budget-friendly prices. If I visit again, I’d probably try starch dishes like fried rice or pad Thai.
