中環有數家定位較高級的牛排館，REX Wine & Grill 是當中久聞大名的店家之一，店址在一處商業大樓地下室，週四晚上比想像中要冷清一些
我們點了一份套餐加幾道單點分食，餐點口味不錯，牛排要是表面多一點脆度更符合喜好，加點的品相當中則比較喜歡搭配芝麻葉的Burrata
不過以料理的驚喜度而言，主觀感覺價格偏高，且上菜速度不算順暢，尤其鹹食用完等了很久才上甜點；平日午餐價格看起來相對合理，似乎更吸引人🍽️
The are several steakhouses in Central, Hong Kong, and REX Wine & Grill is one I’ve heard about for a long time. Located in the basement of a commercial building, the atmosphere was surprisingly quiet for a Thursday night.
We opted for one set menu plus a few à la carte dishes to share. Overall, the flavors were solid. While the steak was good, I personally would have preferred a bit more of a crusty sear on the outside. Among the extra dishes we ordered, the Burrata with arugula was the standout.
However the price felt a bit steep given the lack of “wow factor" in the dishes. Also the pacing of the meal was somewhat uneven; there was a long wait for dessert after we finished our mains. Weekday lunch sets appear to be much more reasonably priced and might be a more attractive option to me.
