訂了山莊無量塔的一泊二食方案,晚餐在住客限定的餐廳「茶寮 柴扉洞」享用,行前飯店就以email確認過是否有飲食限制,當天登記入住時再確認用餐時間

餐廳空間為一間一間的包廂,並且是不需要跪坐的榻榻米,非常長輩友善!我們這桌配一位專屬服務生,全程仔細英文介紹,雖然不太流暢,但搭配菜單算好理解

晚餐是和洋並濟的懷石套餐,既有日本料理的精神,對外國人的我們來說又比傳統懷石更好懂,整體把當季或在地食材的美味發揮得很不錯

餐點好吃、空間雅緻,周到而不嚴肅的服務態度也讓人感到自在,有機會住宿的話,推薦大家試試👍🏻

We booked the one-night, two-meals package at Sansou Murata. Dinner was served at the guest-only restaurant, Saihido. Before our trip, the hotel confirmed dietary restrictions via email, and dining time was confirmed at check-in.

The restaurant is composed of private tatami rooms, but with seating that does not require kneeling, which is very senior-friendly. Our table was assigned a dedicated server who carefully explained each dish in English throughout the meal. While not perfectly fluent, the explanations were easy to follow with the help of the menu.

Dinner was a kaiseki course that blends Japanese and Western elements. It retains the spirit of traditional Japanese cuisine while being more approachable for foreign guests than classic kaiseki. Overall, the meal did an excellent job of showcasing seasonal and local ingredients.

The food was delicious, the space elegant, and the service attentive without ever feeling stiff, making the whole experience very comfortable. If you have the chance to stay here, I highly recommend trying the dinner.

先附け (SAKIZUKE) – Seasonal appetizer

Smoked Sockeye salmon and seasonal vegetables with tartar sauce

簡單炙烤的食材 本來品質就不錯
薄鹽調味或沾塔塔醬更帶出香氣
The ingredients were lightly seared, and their quality was already good. Simple seasoning with a touch of salt or dipping in tartar sauce brought out their flavor even more. 
尤其喜歡球芽甘藍 風味濃厚卻不苦澀
I especially loved the Brussels sprouts, which are rich in flavor yet not bitter at all.
椀物 (WANMONO) – Seasonal Japanese soup

帶蟹肉鮮香的丸子十分柔軟
高湯清澈卻有味
The crab-filled ball was soft, carrying the sweet aroma of crab meat. The broth was crystal clear yet flavorful.

原以為做成雪花狀的藕片、炸毛豆泥、
起司紫薯等 可能中看不中吃
沒想到還算滿好理解
I can’t remember all the varieties—there was sashimi and soft squid among them—but freshness were no doubt. I thought the snowflake-shaped lotus root, fried edamame paste, and cheese-filled purple sweet potato might look better than they tasted. Surprisingly, they were quite enjoyable.

The hot pot was comforting, featuring Shimonita leeks and locally raised chicken. The leeks were simmered until translucent, offering a gentle sweetness with a slightly crisp bite, perfectly complementing the chicken and broth.

馬頭魚立鱗燒相對常見
比較特別的是以大分縣特有的「臭橙(kabosu)」
和白蘿蔔打成泥作醬料
並以銀杏點綴
稍稍炸過的魚肉因此吃起來味道更平衡
While scale-grilled tilefish is fairly common, what stood out here was the use of Oita’s signature citrus, kabosu, blended with grated daikon as the sauce, and garnished with ginkgo nuts. The lightly fried fish tasted more balanced as a result.
変り鉢 (KAWARIBACHI) – Traditional charbroiled beef

Charcoal-grilled local Oita beef marinated in Moromi-miso with five seasonings

味噌醃過的烤牛肉搭配味噌沾醬
雖然我更喜歡鹽烤更甚於帶甜的調味
但牛肉本身香氣夠
不油膩且比起美國牛更淡雅
The miso-marinated grilled beef was served with a miso-based sauce. Personally, I prefer simple salt seasoning over sweeter flavors, though the beef itself was aromatic, not greasy, and thus more delicate compared to American beef.
御飯(GOHAN) – Rice

土鍋煮的白飯晶瑩剔透還飄著米香
入口粒粒分明、彈性十足
要不是已經非常飽了 真想吃一個碗公!
The clay-pot cooked rice was glossy, fragrant, and wonderfully springy. If I hadn’t been so full, I could have finished another bowl.

在漬物當中是比較清香淡口的類型
The accompanying pickles were on the lighter, refreshing side.

And the sardines in miso had a rich bonito aroma.

甜點是水果(鳳梨/奇異果)、巧克力布朗尼

Dessert included fresh fruit (pineapple and kiwi), chocolate brownie, and yuzu sorbet.

蛋糕體蓬鬆有蛋香、奶油是清香的生乳口感
還剛好是我喜歡的蛋糕種類
不愧是旗下有蛋糕名店「B SPEAK」的飯店
Before we finished dessert, the staff brought out a beautifully decorated cream cake with fresh fruit. It turned that this was a complimentary treat in keeping with Japanese Christmas traditions!

Beyond the thoughtful gesture, the cake itself was excellent. Sponge was fluffy with a pleasant egg aroma, and cream was light. It also happened to be exactly my favorite style of cake. No surprise for a hotel that also operates the famous patisserie B SPEAK.
