某個天氣好的週末去新店銀河洞走走,回程順路到捷運七張站、新店區公所站之間的賴岡山羊肉吃早早的晚餐,自己對羊肉沒有著迷,完全是衝著滷肉飯來的

滷肉飯有記憶裡南部口味的影子:肥肉呈帶皮方塊狀、暖棕色的醬汁帶甜,米飯雖不是最佳但粒粒分明,微黏口而不油膩;既然來了就順道吃吃看羊肉湯,湯底藥膳風味溫潤,相當順口

是自己在雙北地區覺得前幾名好吃的滷肉飯,推薦給也喜歡甜甜滷汁的朋友

On a sunny weekend, I went for a walk at Yinhe Cave in Xindian. On the way back, I stopped by Lai Kang Shan for an early dinner. I’m not particularly obsessed with lamb—I was there for the braised pork rice.

Even though we arrived early, the place was already quite busy. I’ve heard that during regular mealtimes, waiting in line is common. Seating extends out to the covered sidewalk arcade, and there are plenty of takeaway customers as well.

The braised pork rice carries echoes of the southern Taiwanese style I remember: chunky, skin-on cubes of fatty pork coated in warm brown sauce with a gentle sweetness, slightly sticky, and not greasy at all. The rice isn’t the absolute best, but the grains are distinct. We also tried the skin-on lamb soup—the herbal broth is mild and comforting.

It’s easily among my top picks for braised pork rice in the greater Taipei area. Highly recommended for those who enjoy a sweeter braising sauce.
