選擇多，且有其他同類餐廳少見、口味較重的泰北料理，算是能一解在台灣想念泰國菜的癮頭
Looking for something beyond the usual Thai Central Plains–style fare in Taipei, we decided revisit Thai Made, a restaurant that specializes in Northern Thai cuisine.
The restaurant has stood on Dongfeng Street for many years and occupies two storefronts. From our table, we could see into the kitchen, which always adds a sense of reassurance. It’s also a good choice for group gatherings, with private rooms and set menus for larger parties.
We ordered several of the chef’s recommendations. I especially enjoyed the lemongrass fried chicken wings—the light, crispy batter wasn’t greasy at all, and pairing with the tangy, spicy dipping sauce is always comforting. My sister’s favorite was the curry pumpkin beef: the ribs were stewed until tender, and the pumpkin curry sauce was rich and aromatic, though the toast served on the side didn’t really add much.
With a wide selection of Northern Thai dishes that are less commonly found in town—this is quite a satisfying spot to curb Thai food cravings while in Taiwan.
