餐廳位在 BTS Chit Lom 站附近一棟全白的商業大樓裡,當天網路訂位並無釋出,幸好五點多實際前往碰運氣時,發現還滿多空位的,於是順利入座
有好多想點的菜,但兩個人食量有限,只好精選我想吃的前菜拼盤、脆皮豬五花炒河粉和旅伴想吃的大河蝦冬陰功湯,全部都很精緻美味,並且各式辣醬完美搭配,泰國人怎麼這麼會使用香料跟辣椒啊啊!
價位稍高,但座位舒適、餐點好吃,用餐完後對泰式料理又多一分認識與喜愛了
Baannok BKK serves home-style dishes from Korat (Thailand’s northeastern Isan region). According to online reviews, the flavors lean heavily toward sour and spicy—exactly what I crave when I’m in Thailand.

The restaurant is located in an all-white building near BTS Chit Lom Station. There were no available slots when we tried to book online that day, but luckily when we showed up in person a little after 5 p.m., there were still plenty of empty tables.
There were so many dishes I wanted to order, but with only two of us, we narrowed it down to a mixed of appetizers, stir-fried rice noodles with crispy pork belly, and the tom yum soup with river prawns. Everything was beautifully prepared and delicious, and each dish paired perfectly with the various chili pastes. How are Thai people this good at using herbs and chilies?
The prices are on the higher side, but seating is comfortable and food is excellent. By the end of the meal, my appreciation and love for Thai cuisine had only deepened!

This was the dish I was most curious to try. According to what I’d read online, it’s made from fermented glutinous rice and pork, which gives it a gentle tang.

Rice noodles stir-fried with crispy pork belly. Full of wok hei, with no burnt or greasy aftertaste. I really enjoyed this one.
